Butterfield Square held its
grand opening in 1981. In 1988, the Sam Hicks
Monument Park Committee opened the Old Town Temecula Museum in
Butterfield Square. The museum contained items acquired at the
sale of the
Bianchi Frontier
Museum, artifacts and photos from Temecula
Valley's
pioneer days. There are
antique and gift shops, jewelry, travel agency among
other businesses in the Square.
